Dymchurch Station - RHDR

Just had a whistle stop tour round the RHDR stations in New Romney and Dymchurch. The more I go there the more I love that whole marsh area. I feel myself gravitating spiritually west from Folkestone. People must go to the really nice little café in New Romney off the High St called the Coach House Coffee Shop. It’s a real little gem:

Also, checked out the Marsh Mellow Bakery on the roundabout by the fairground for one of the best sausage (complete with English mustard) baguettes I’ve ever had and then walked along the sandy beach. If you want to check out how much influence Jordan has had on the population, you need look no further than Dymchurch Beach. It’s amazing, but you’d hardly know the beach was there behind the stalinist concrete sea wall inviting you not to cross over from the roadside. But heh! I reckon it’s either that or have your caravan washed away by the sea!
